ABCs of Recovery: Week Four |
![]() | Week Four is more than the final stretch of your ABCs of Recovery challenge, it is proof that you have been showing up for yourself, one choice at a time. Every day you practiced awareness, honesty, courage, and patience, you strengthened the part of you that wants healing more than hiding and freedom more than fear. Finishing the ABCs of recovery challenge is a powerful reminder that change begins with understanding and controlling your actions and behaviors. When you pause to notice the activating events, beliefs, and consequences behind your choices, you give yourself space to respond differently. You are learning that urges, setbacks, emotions, and old patterns do not have to define the outcome, you can challenge the thoughts that pull you backward and choose the beliefs that move you forward. |
This week, celebrate progress that may not always be visible from the outside: the moments when you asked for help, the moments you told the truth, the moments you kept pushing forward instead of giving up. Recovery is built in these quiet victories. Each one is evidence that you are growing stronger, wiser, and more capable of living in alignment with the life you are rebuilding. As you complete this challenge, remember that finishing does not mean you are done learning, it means you now carry tools that will help you move forward to module three and the Relapse Prevention challenge. Keep pushing forward. Keep choosing recovery. Keep believing that the next right step matters, because it does. |
