What is the Warriors & Heroes Program?

The Warriors & Heroes is an online, do-it-yourself, self-help program that provides a daily topic or lesson with corresponding activities or actions, daily trackers, worksheets, and journal, an online recovery forum, a recovery library, a network of support and services, and more!

The Warriors & Heroes isn’t just for those with an addiction, it’s also for family, friends, employers, and employees.  The Warriors & Heroes isn’t just for addiction, it also helps with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and those who have suffered a physical or emotional trauma such as an assault, abandonment, abuse, neglect, etc.

How long has the Warriors & Heroes been in business?

The Warriors & Heroes is a DBA of Spuggz, LLC, a Nevada business since 2012.  We have dedicated the last five (5) years, over ten-thousand hours, and almost a half-million dollars, researching, training, studying, and developing the Warriors & Heroes programs.

How long do the recovery challenges last?

The Warriors & Heroes 90-day challenges 13 weeks, with 91 daily challenges, delivered in 30-day modules.

How much does the program cost?

The 90-day challenge is $89.95.  If you wish to purchase the challenge one (1) month at a time, it is $44.95 per month.  The Warrior Recovery Community memberships is free.

How can you afford to offer the program at such a low price?

The majority of the program costs are covered by the sponsorship fees our Business Heroes pay toward our “Standing Up for Recovery” campaign.  It is only because of the support we receive from family, friends, and the businesses in your community that we are able to offer the program for such a low fee. We encourage our Warriors to show their gratitude by patronizing the businesses listed in our Products & Services directories and by referring them to family and friends.

What is the age requirement to enroll?

Warrior must be a minimum of 13 years old or have the signed consent of a parent or guardian, to enroll.

Are the 90-day challenges only for people with addictions?

Absolutely not!  While the 90-day challenges emphasize addiction recovery, the program can be helpful and valuable to those suffering from depression, anxiety, neglect, emotional and physical trauma, loneliness, and a variety of additional emotional challenges.  It is also for spouses and significant others, family, friends, and employers who want to learn more about the addiction recovery process, how they can help and what to expect as their loved one goes through the program. It is also designed for spouses, significant others, family, and friends who need to go through recovery of their own because of the trauma they have suffered due to their loved one’s addition.

Do I need to already be “Clean” to start the program?

Absolutely not!  If you haven’t already detoxed from your abuse substance, we can help you using a safe and realistic method of tapering through our Detox & Harm Reduction challenge.  Our Recovery Prep challenge helps you detox and prime your mind, body, and spirit for recovery, with a target of being fully detoxed by the end of the 30 days.

How do the 90-day challenges help people without addictions?

The foundation of the 90-day challenge is to start at the beginning and uncover the root cause of the addiction, depression, and anxiety.  Even without an addiction, those suffering from depression and/or anxiety usually have an unresolved emotional incident, perception or debilitating belief that fuels their fear.  We help identify the beginning of the incident or belief so we can develop a strategy to leave it in the past, allowing the Warrior to move forward without fear.

What if I want to get better, but I’m not completely ready to get clean?

Our Warrior Recovery Connection Forum is perfect for those who want to get clean but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full detox. The Forum was created to allow and encourage individuals to share their experiences, successes, and failures. The goal is to help and support others in the group through their recovery challenges, cheer them on for their successes and help lift and encourage them when they stumble and fall.   Additionally, our 90-day challenge, ABCs of Recovery helps people who want harm reduction as well as full detox.

What if I need medication to help with my detox and withdrawal symptoms?

If you need a prescription to help with your detox and withdrawal symptoms, your regular physician can help you with that. If you don’t have a doctor you currently use, please check our Recovery Resources & Support Directories, and our Products & Services directory for physicians and treatment centers in your area.

How long do I have access to the challenge?

Your membership is good for either 90 days, or 30 days at a time, depending on whether you registered for the 90-day challenge or a monthly challenge.  However, as long as you remain an active member, even with the free Recovery Connection Warrior membership, you will have access to all the challenges you have purchased.  Keep in mind, that while you will have access to the challenges you have purchased with a free Recovery Connection Warrior membership, you will not have access to the interactive Challenge Forums.

Once I Enroll, when does the program start?

Once I register, are there any supplies I will need?

When you register for a 30 or 90-day challenge, you will need a 3-ring binder and a 3-hole punch for the worksheets and journal pages you download. Challenge Warriors also need access to a printer with paper and ink/toner, and digital device such as a laptop, desktop, tablet, or smart phone to access the online program. A desktop, laptop, or tablet is preferable over a smart phone simple because of the size of the text.

Are the 90-Day Challenges available for “in person” classes and meetings?

Not at this time.  One of the reasons we made the Warriors & Heroes an online program is to make it easier for Members/Warriors to participate.  As an online program, Members/Warriors don’t have to worry about their schedule and making it to a meeting.  The online course allows Members/Warriors to complete their daily assignments and activities in the privacy of their own home, according to their schedule and availability and anonymously if desired.

No.  Spuggz, LLC is a for-profit entity.  However, we donate 3 % of all sponsorship fees to our charity, Spuggz Huggz.  Additionally, we can provide our addiction recovery program at a discounted rate because of the generosity of our sponsors and crowdfunding efforts.
