How I Quiet My Mind

When your thoughts won’t stop racing, quieting your mind begins with giving those thoughts less room to run. Instead of trying to force silence, pause and notice what is happening: the quick pace of your breathing, the tension in your body,  and the way one negative thought after another keeps adding up.

Gently bring your attention back to something steady, like the feeling of your feet on the floor or the slow rhythm of an inhale and exhale. Each time your mind wanders, return without judgment, as if you are guiding it back with kindness rather than command.

Over time, this simple act of coming back to the present can soften the noise inside and create a small, calm space where you can breathe, think clearly, and rest.
