Taking the First Step

Realizing you need help with your addiction is the first step...seeking treatment is the second.  Both steps take courage.  It can be scary, but the good news is, you are stronger than you know or you wouldn't be here trying to move forward.

Taking a comprehensive look at your personal situation will help you decide which type of treatment will work best for you.  There are several factors to consider before you create your plan.

  • Things like finances and responsibilities play a big part in what you can afford and the time you can commit to your treatment.
  • Are you strong enough and do you want it bad enough for an out-patient program?  Or do you need discipline and strict guidance that an in-patient facility will provide?
  • Do your responsibilities (Work, childcare, etc.) restrict your availability making an online program like the Power of 90 Days better?
  • Or do you need/want a combination of the three?
  • Do you want to detox cold turkey, taper, or with the use of medication?

The answers to these questions will help you create a recovery plan that is right for your personal situation, giving you a better chance at a successful recovery.

Getting Started:  Grab a piece of paper or a notebook and start writing down the following information:

  • Take a look at your finances to see what you can afford.  It's possible, family or friends might be willing to help if you're truly committed to recovery.
  • Take a look at your responsibilities...work, childcare, etc. What obligations do you have during specific times of the day? Is there anyone who can cover some or all of these responsibilities, long-term or short-term, so you can get the help you need?  Does your employer offer assistance?
  • Do you prefer in-house, out-patient, or an online program?  Keep in mind, the Power of 90 Days online program is designed to work either as a stand-alone program, or in conjunction with another program and is accessible 24/7 from the privacy of your own home.
  • Talk to family & friends to see what kind of support you can expect to receive, especially while you're going through withdrawals or battling triggers.  Joining a support group is a good idea.
  • Register for a Power of 90 Days Online Recovery Program.  All you pay is the $30.00 online fee which covers the 90-day program (Only .33 cents a day!).  A scholarship grant will cover the $900.00 for your online program.   CLICK HERE

Regardless of which type of treatment program you use, it's important that you get help.  Remember, every little step forward matters, to you and to those who love and care about you.
